This weekend couldn’t have come soon enough. My friend was visiting from London and I was so excited to see her!
We went to Earth Cafe at Manchester Buddhist Center for juices, salad and epic chats. We checked out the vintage and art shops in the Northern Quarter whilst I forced her to listen to Marina and The Diamond’s new album ‘Froot’ on my headphones. Seriously though have you heard it? It’s amazing <3
After our girl’s day out I met my boyfriend at Grill on The Alley for steak, frites and wine.
Wearing: TopShop Womens LIGHT Suede Fringe Loafers, Monochrome Polka Dot Blazer (similar), Starburst reversible tote in coral and silver from Echo Designs, I’m wearing it on the reverse silver side in this post, RayBan Wayfarer Sunglasses and Zara Yellow Trousers Similar Here
Suggested Post: Paris Part One
The Great Gatsby has always been one of my favourite books. I find Nick Carraway and Gatsby fascinating. Gatsby’s elaborate illusions and extravagant champagne fueled parties are a world away from Carraway’s life. Oops, I’m now re-living my English A-level essay!
Back to Paris. The all seeing eyes of Dr. T.J. Eckleburg are everywhere, every optician has a set and they really caught my eye (how punny). I took a snap of every pair that I passed and gathered quite a collection.
Now for the look. I’m almost head to toe in TopShop. My gyspy top is the Lace Trim Blouse by Band of Gypises the highwaisted jeans are MOTO Black Joni Jeans and my necklace is the Double Row Open Circle Necklace.
I know it is a little ironic to do an outfit post with Eckleburg watching but he seemed fine with it.
